About Chatup

The Chatup is usable by all groups, and is very easy to install.  It is capable of having password protected private rooms, private messaging, able to send sounds, smilees, and links.  It is a great way to continue the friendships you have already made online, as well as encouraging members who have never been to a group, to come out and join.   If you install the code on your page be sure and let me know.  I will put your group on the right hand side of the chatup.  I can be contacted here at The Los Angeles Art Group.  Send a message to me David B.

How to use Chatup

To use Chatup you don't need an account all you have to do is enter a username and click enter.  If you want to keep your username you will have to register you username.  To do that all you have to do is click on "Keep My Username" in the top right hand corner of the Chatup page.  Once you register your username no one else will be able to use it.  If you try to use David B you can't.  SOL for the other David B's out there.  Also my friends or enemies can't pretend to be me. 

 
How to install the Chatup on your page

Bellow is the code to install on your page.  Simply copy and paste the code below into your about us page.  Then insert the name of your group between the right an left arrow, where it says "The name of your group here" and remove the arrows.  Then change "What you call your members" between the right and left arrows to what ever you call your members.  Be sure to remove the right and left arrows.  You will basically be replacing everything in red.  When you copy and paste to your page it will no longer be red so you may need this as a reference.  Bellow is the code to paste.


Here is the installation code.  The red is what needs to be replaced:
